Dr Iwao Isomura, MD, PhD
Dermatologist
Dr Isomura completed his Medical degree through Nagoya City University and specialized in Dermatology more than 20 years. He earned board certification in Dermatology in 2003.
After working as a chief Dermatologist at Holy Spirit Hospital, Dr Isomura worked as a consultant at Nagoya City University Hospital.
Alongside his clinical career, Dr Isomura has extensive experience in medical research, especially in immunology. His research focus was regulating cutaneous immune system such as boosting tumor immunity and induction of immune tolerance using dendritic cells and regulatory T cells.
Dr Isomura received PhD degree through Nagoya City University School of Medical Sciences in 2005, then he worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in Immunology Division at The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, Australia from 2006-2008.
After coming back to Japan, Dr Isomura worked as a chief Dermatologist at Nagoya Midori Municipal Hospital for ten years. Then he opened this clinic in 2018.
